IMPERIAL GLASS COVERED BUTTER CARNIVAL PURPLE

Covered butter dish in carnival purple by one of the most collected glass companies Imperial Glass. This company was first opened in 1901 and became a part of the Lenox group in 1973. In between those years they produced a variety of very collectible glass and other items in their Bellaire, Ohio plant. This beautiful piece has the Imperial Glass mark that dates it between 1951 & 1972. I am not sure of the name of this pattern. It is footed and the base has a scalloped border. It measures 7 inches across by 6 1/2 inches high. Condition is excellent. Shipping weight is 4 pounds.
