Rare Vintage Paden City Pottery Bakserv Casserole

A rare find with the chrome bakelite handled base is this covered casserole that was produced by Paden City Pottery. They were in business from 1914 to 1963 in Paden City and factory near Sisterville West Virginia. Although most of the markings on the bottom are worn there was enough for me to identify this piece as their "Bakserv" line. It was known for having decals that looked like they were painted on. The casserole with the cover measures 8 1/2 inches across by 4 inches high and except for some minor crazing on the cover it is in excellent plus condition. If you are a collector of vintage kitchen this is a must. Shipping weight is 6 pounds.
