Nancy Ann Bisque Storybook Doll No.190 April Girl
Nancy Ann Abbott was the creator of these adorable little dolls. They were made between 1936 and 1960. This doll however was produced between 1942 and 1948. She is a bisque doll with painted on face and painted black shoes, with solid body and only arms that are jointed. Wearing a very beautiful yellow dress with white design and a yellow lace border. The dress is attached with a brass snap in the back. On her wrist is the gold tag that reads "Storybook Dolls by Nancy Ann 190 April Girl". As with all Nancy Ann dolls she has on her white pantaloons undergarment and also white under slip. On her reddish brown hair is a yellow bonnet with pink and blue flowers and tied down with a yellow ribbon and on her arm is a yellow parasol trimmed with the same lace that is on her dress. She is a 6 inch doll in excellent condition. Doll has been stored in a glass enclosed showcase from a smoke free home. See my other doll listings. No box.
