MATCHBOX SUPERFAST SERIES NO.44-C PASSENGER COACH

This vehicle is from the Matchbox Superfast Series. Due to the advent of the Mattel Hot Wheels with their frictionless wheels, Matchbox introduced this series in 1969 and the Superfast name was used until 1980. This one is number MB44-C1 Passenger Coach and was issued in 1978. It has a red body, flat beige roof, light green windows, train wheels and red 431/432 labels. It is in mint condition as it has never been played with and the box is in excellent condition. Bottom is marked "Matchbox Superfast No.44 Passenger Coach Made in England 1978 Lesney Prod & Co.".
