FOLK ART WALNUT HEAD DOLL MAN W/ MOONSHINE JUG

Great example of old folk art. Walnut head doll with solid wood body and bendable arms. This wonderfully creative hand-made doll is 6" tall. His head is a walnut with painted on eyes and mouth and glued on whiskers. He has a fabric formed outfit and is carrying his moonshine jug. In his jeans back pocket is a red, white and black handkerchief. His pants are tied up with a rope suspenders. Probably originated from the Mountain areas of the eastern states.
