From WW2 era when the women's branch of the Navy (Waves) was first introduced I am offering this 10kt gold and sterling ring. It is size 7 1/2 and manufactured by Jostens the company that makes most of these military pieces. The emblem of an anchor and propellers as well as both sides with the "WAVES" lettering is in gold. The rest of the ring is sterling. Also marked on the inside "Jostens 10k ster". A great collectible of the women's branch of the service. Not many of these rings around. The main portion of the ring (the center area) measures 5/8" by 1/2". It is in excellent condition. As with all my listings of jewelry it is being offered with free shipping in the U.S.A. only.
