Old School Teachers Brass Bell W/wood Handle

Great old school teachers brass bell. I remember when I was a kid and all the Catholic Nuns Teachers had one on their desk. This is definitely one from that era of the 1940's. Measures 8.5" tall and 4.75" at the base. Some of the black paint around the handle is crackling and it does appear as if someone has touched up the handle.
