This is an 1888 Elgin Pocket watch as determined by the serial number 3430457. Crystal is free from any marks or scratches. Dial is clean but does have 2 very minor hairlines at approx. 6 and 7 o'clock on the dial. Back plate has a very nice train design and is marked on the inside "DEFIANCE 0953502". Case in excellent condition. This is a complete watch but non working condition. Being offered as is. Measures 44mm across. See all my very many great listings for your consideration.
