Small Hammered Sterling Cup Edward Lan Giovanni

This very small sterling cup has an inside that is gold washed and a leaf design for a handle and hammered look. Signed "Edw.Lan Giovanni Sterling". As I am not familiar with this signature I am also not sure of the age. I can only estimate by the style and assume pre 1950. It is in excellent condition free from any dings or dents.
