Big Bold Mexican Sterling Clip-on Earrings

Mexican 925 Sterling clip-on earrings. Big & bold they remind me of a hermit crab shell. Marked "Mexico 925 TG-116". This type of identification was used starting in the late 1970's. The T stands for Taxco and the G for the first initial of the last name of the silversmith. The earrings measure 1-1/2" x 1-1/8" and are in excellent condition. Circa approx. 1980's.
