Vintage Dunhill Table Lighter Tinder Pistol Model

Dunhill Tinder Pistol is a fine example of an extraordinary table lighter which is in the shape of a flintlock tinder (gun) pistol from the XVIII century. Made of brass and walnut/mahogany handle. The lighter has a very precise trigger activated mechanism - the top opens and sparks when the trigger is pulled. Dunhill Tinder Pistol was manufactured both in England and USA from 1945 until the early 50's. This one is marked "DUNHILL Tinder Pistol Made in USA Pat/Appl'd For". In excellent operating condition but has some minor problems. The handle and bottom plate have been repaired. Measures 6" long by 4" tall.
