This is a Mother's Day 1974 Hollie Hobby Commemorative Edition Collector plate. The plate has little girl pushing a wooden/straw stroller with a baby. The inscription on the front, says" Mother means a sunny smile, An understanding heart-A precious bond of warmth and love, That time can never part". The plate is 10 1/2inches across with gold trim. This is a AVON Collector Christmas plate-1974. The plate is from the Christmas Plate Series, Second Edition,titled "Country Church". The plate is over 8 3/4 inches across. It has a picture of the country church in the front with a light blue border around, trimmed in gold on the edge. It is trimmed in gold in 2 spots on the plate, outside edge and the inside edge around the country church. There is a small defect on the front edge, it looks like a stress fracture about an 1/8 inch. ...click for details
