Antique Handmade Craved Wooden Hanging Comb Box

Want a primitive with alot of character, here it is. An early hand made, hand carved and hand decorated hanging comb box made of walnut wood. Great detail in the carvings. Alot of the original paint decoration is still intact. Even the back has alot of character. Twenty six little nails keeps the box attached to the back. Notice that the very top was broken off years ago and someone added a piece of metal to prevent further damage. What a great piece of history. It measures: 9 3/4" at it's widest and 15" high.
