This striking egg set was made by Gale & Willis in 1860. It is monogramed "E.R.P. April 16, 1860". Gale & Willis worked in New York between 1859 and 1862. Its about 10" tall and 8" in diameter. It consists of 8 egg cups and the stand. Each engine turned cup is 2 1/2" tall and each retains the bright gold wash in the bowl. Each is monogramed "E.R.P.". This 12 1/2" soup ladle is in the oval or French thread pattern. It is in nice condition with a scalloped, fluted bowl. It has no dents or breaks. It is marked JLW and a star, lion and D, (Westerfeld's trademark). It also is marked "Marsh Albany". Made around 1840/55 in Newburg, NY.

An interesting pattern originally, made in coin in the 1850's by Albert Coles, is very modern looking. This sterling 12 3/4" soup ladle was probably made around 1870. It is in excellent condition with no dents or cracks. It is marked with Albert Coles eagle, diamond with AC, and head and "sterling".

This 13 5/8" coin soup ladle was retailed by B.L.Hood in Buffalo, NY. I think this is a Boston pattern but I don't know it's name. In good shape, it has no dents, cracks or breaks And the pattern is crisp.
