This 13 1/4" ladle is probably a soup ladle but, with it's flutes bowl could easily serve as a punch ladle. The pattern is "Tuscan" patented in 1846. The condition is excellent with essentially no wear. It is marked S.D. Brower (incuse) and has a raised eagle. CA 1856/55.

This ladle is 9 3/8" from tip of the handle to the front edge of the bowl. Possibly it's a gravy or berry ladle. It has a gold washed bowl ant a band of engraved leaves around the outside edge of the inside of the bowl. The condition is excellent, all engraving crisp with no dents. It is marked D. Fey, but made, I'm sure, by Duhme. It's never been monogramed. Ca 1865. This piece and the following 5 lots are all part of the same set. All are have never been monogram ...click for details

These sugar tongs are 6" in length and in excellent condition. With nice cutout handles, they were made around 1840 by D.B. Miller of Boston.

These 6" sugar tongs are in excellent condition. They have a bold form and are marked only "Utica". Made around 1840.

This 5 7/8" sauce ladle is in nice condition. It is marked with strange trademarks (hallmarks) that I am unable to decipher and L.O. Dunning. Probably made in New York around 1845/50.

This 6 1/4" sauce ladle is in excellent condition and was made by Johnson & Godley of Albany,NY between 1843 & 1849. It is marked crude lion, J & G in a diamond, and an eagle. The bowl is 1 3/4" x 1 1/2".

This 12 1/2" soup ladle is in the oval or French thread pattern. It is in nice condition with a scalloped, fluted bowl. It has no dents or breaks. It is marked JLW and a star, lion and D, (Westerfeld's trademark). It also is marked "Marsh Albany". Made around 1840/55 in Newburg, NY.

This 13 5/8" coin soup ladle was retailed by B.L.Hood in Buffalo, NY. I think this is a Boston pattern but I don't know it's name. In good shape, it has no dents, cracks or breaks And the pattern is crisp.
