My best lamp is 8 1/2" and in excellent condition. It has a free blown font with a pressed square scrolled base with paw feet and lions heads between the scrolls (see blue arrow in picture). The lions seem more canine with a mane to me. See Barlow & Kaiser # 2028 for the base and # 2029 for the font. There is smoothed chip on one foot. Sandwich, Ca 1827/35.

No you are not seeing double. These are, in fact, very close to a pair, same size, mark, handle, engine turning, beading and base. But the engraving is different. They are 4" tall, oval 2" by 2 1/2". The condition is excellent with crisp enginr turning and engraving. One has a small dent. They are marked with Tifft & Whitings 3 symbol mark and "Pure Silver Coin". Ca 1855/60.

This 13 1/4" ladle is probably a soup ladle but, with it's flutes bowl
could easily serve as a punch ladle. The pattern is "Tuscan" patented
in 1846. The condition is excellent with essentially no wear. It is
marked S.D. Brower (incuse) and has a raised eagle. CA 1856/55.
