These 3 coin spoons are 8 3/4" and in nice condition. There are only a couple of small dents in the bowls and no bowl wear. These are probably not a set because the monograms are different, 2 with "Almira Brett" and one with "Ella" both on the back. One is marked "L.Studley" and the other 2 "D.F. Studley"(a family of Studleys?). I am unable to find their location. My New England attribution is based on the pattern. Ca 1845/50.

Unusual and striking, these coin silver sugar tongs are 6 3/8" and in excellent condition, with no bends or dents. They have long arms with squared shoulders. There is a bright cut cartouche around a period monogram. It is marked 4 times with a script "JS". I have not located this mark but am basing my guess an the first 2 letters in the "J Sayre" mark. New York Ca 1805.

An interesting pattern originally, made in coin in the 1850's by Albert
Coles, is very modern looking. This sterling 12 3/4" soup ladle was
probably made around 1870. It is in excellent condition with no dents
or cracks. It is marked with Albert Coles eagle, diamond with AC, and head
and "sterling".

These 6 7/8" dessert forks are in a pattern I loosely call "Bead". There are several variations of this pattern including the following set which is slightly different at the tip of the handle. This one has a fluer de lis. These are made by "Bailey & Co." Interestingly these are also sterling, having Baileys mark (lion, S, shield) for sterling. Ca 1855.

This is what we look for, seldom finding. This 9 1/8" spoon is in excellent condition with no bowl wear or denting. The urn on the bowl is strong. It is marked "C Wiltberger" and this looks like it may have been struck twice, but it can be made out. Christian Wiltberger, Philadelphia, Ca 1790/95.

A very nice pair of heavy, 7 3/8" dessert spoons. They have no bowl wear and a couple of miniscule dents in one bowl. Stephen Baker was in Wilmington until around 1818 we think. We do not know when his son came into the business or actually when he was in New York. "New York State Silversmiths" has him dated there 1787/1856. All this is assuming these are the same Stephen Baker. These are marked S. Baker & Son.
