This salt spoon is 3 1/8" and in nice condition. I think it is late 18th century and possibly an apprentice made piece. The decoration at the end of the handle is a die used to put decoration on the back of a spoon. There is no mark.

These 7 1/2" tea knives are in fair condition. The silver blades are excellent and there are no repairs or cracks. The handles have many small dents. The reason for this is that the interior of the handle is a resin which shrinks over 150 years leaving a space between the silver & the resin. Each time they are dropped in a drawer, they dent. However, these are so hard to find we overlook some flaws. These were made by Albert Coles and retailed by E. Jaccard of St. Louis. Ca 1855.

This "fiddlethread" tablespoon is 8 1/2" and is not in great condition. There are some bowl dents and a bowl bend and slight bowl wear. However, it would work very well with red beans and rice. It is marked "A.B. Griswold" and with another tiny mark that I can't make out. It's a usuable piece of silver.

Now these are cool. They are tiny at 5 5/8". I don't have a clue what they are. Everyone wants to call them pastry forks, and they may be, but I think they are pickle forks missing the knife. Whatever they are, I have never seen tines quite like these. They are in great condition with no dents or bends. They are marked "J Holister" and "Pure Coin" for Julius Holister of Hartford Ct. Ca 1855/65.
