240.00 set of 6

These 7 1/2" dinner forks are in great condition. There is no tine wear or bends or dents. The unusual thing about them is the engraving on the front. It looks like a curved horn with tassels and the number 6 in the middle. On the back there looks to be a ribbon. Maybe fire station # 6 or lodge # 6 ? They are marked "N Harding" & "Pure coin". These are very nice forks.

These combs are an interesting look into fashions of the 1850's. This one is 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". It is perfectly plain except for a monogram on the back. The monogram is "SW" for Susan Warner. See photo of the note. It has a small crack to the right of the 5th tine from the left. The crack does not seem to diminish the strength of the piece and would be easily repaired. Ca 1850.

These 5 1/2" teaspoons are in excellent condition. No dents, no bowl wear. 3 or 4 have slight bends where the handle thins, but there is no cracking or other structural damage. They are unmarked but I believe they are American because of there looks and particularly because of the featheredge monogram.(picture 2) Ca 1800/1810.

$270.00 set of 6

These coin knives are 7 1/2" and in usable condition. One has been repaired where the handle & blade meet and there are numerous small dents on the handles. This denting is normal on hollow handled knives of this age. Over 150 years the resin that fills the hollow handle shrinks and the thin silver dents when put in a drawer. They are hard to find in any condition. They are made by Albert Coles and so marked. Ca 1850/60.
