All our items are described and listed to the best of our knowledge. The condition of an item may be affected by age and wear so imperfections and flaws will be noted in the description. Many older pieces have bubbles, seams or inclusions in them through the process of manufacturing. Normal wear and tear such as dents, scratches and minor flaws can appear on items and we do our best to insure that we point out the ones that we see. Please read the description carefully and view accompanying photos before you purchase to avoid any disappointment.
We do our utmost to research the items we offer for sale but we also welcome any additional information that you can add to our item description.

MAKING A PURCHASE :
Email Point Holmes Antiques and Collectables at firstname.lastname@example.org indicate your name, address, item description and number as well as your preferred method of payment. You will be contacted via email with confirmation and verification of availability of item. Please do not send payment until you receive confirmation from us.
All payments to be in Canadian funds.
To speed the receipt of your purchased item we advise you to use these options which include: Pay Pal or Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover credit cards through Pay Pal.
A purchaser does not have to be a member of PayPal to make a credit card payment using Pay Pal as long as we are shipping the item to the same address where you receive your monthly credit card statements.
Point Holmes Antiques and Collectables will also accept the following payment methods: Certified cheque or money orders in Canadian funds made payable to - Sharon or Hans Urdahl
If paying by cheque we will hold item for 10 days, if cheque is not received within this time the hold will be removed and the item will be put back into stock.
We will ship your order within 3 business days upon receipt of funds.
* Personal Checks from Canada and USA will be accepted; however merchandise will NOT be sent until the check has been cleared through the bank (minimum 10 days). A charge of $20.00 Canadian funds will be applied to all returned cheques.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS :
Payment accepted only through PayPal and Credit Card through PayPal or International money order.
Customer pays all handing, shipping and insurance costs. Because of the fragile nature of many of our items we will automatically include insurance cost in all shipping quote.
We ship Canada Priority Post, Parcel Post, UPS and CanPar or by a method you prefer. We will ship internationally (worldwide).
SHIPPING DAMAGES :
We take extra precautions to pack your order to prevent damage and breakage.
If, despite our efforts, your order does arrive damaged, it is essential that you:
1) Retain the item(s) and all original boxes and shipping materials.
2) Please take a photo of the out side package before opening if it is visibly damaged,
3) then take photos of damaged item, and send to us.
4) Take all the materials, including item to your local post office to file your claim. The post office will assist you with your claim.
Do not repack and do not mail the damaged item back to us. This will void the postal insurance and you will not be able to get your refund. The original shipping and insurance cost is not refundable.
5) Please contact us for more information. We will promptly assist you in completing your return. Insurance claims must be handled by purchaser, request receipts ASAP.
RETURN POLICY :
We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction.
We will happily answer questions and provide additional information and photos before a purchase is made. If you feel the item is not as we have described please contact us within 24 hours of receipt and we will work with you to resolve any concerns you may have.
Returns will be honoured within 2 days of receipt if item is not as described. Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs, and must include insurance. You will be refunded through the original payment if return is granted.
Returned items must be returned in the same condition as they were sent with original packaging; shipping label intact and postmarked within two (2) business days of your notification that the item(s) is being returned. Refunds with be issued less shipping, handling, insurance and any applicable PayPal or Credit Card fees.
We cannot accept returns for items sent C.O.D. and the original shipping charges are not refundable. No refunds will be issued for item(s) that have been altered or damaged in any way.
