Knight's American Mechanical Dictionary

1874-1876. Three volume set in very good condition. The binding and corners are leather. The leather is scuffed. The pages within are clean with no foxing. The bindings are very tight. The set was obviously rarely used. The first volume of the dictionary was published in 1874, the third in 1876 (the centenial!). Knight's Mechanical Dictionary was renowned as a reference for those in the engineering fields, and was cited by the Encyclopedia Britannica and the Century Dictionary and Cyclopedia.
