For those who enjoy Imari, here is a shallow bowl from China decorated in the style that is among the most popular of all the oriental styles. It is only 1.5" deep and 7.25" in diameter. This little reticulated heart is a wonderful reminder of New Orleans past. Made by Victoria Ceramics in Japan, it measures 5" in diameter. Some of the scenes depicted on the plate are the Mississippi River Bridge, the St. Louis Basilica, the French Quarter, and more. This is an unsigned, hand-painted 8 1/2" plate, with pink and blue geraniums (with green leaves) on gorgeous white plate that has a detailed, embossed rim.
