Beautfully hand painted plate dated 1907. While the artist remains anonymous, the plate used has the familiar JP over L - France - mark, indicating it is from the Jean Pouyat porcelain factory in the Limoges region of France. At the turn of the last century, the Pouyat family name rivaled that of the Havilands for quality in the industry.
