8" Franciscan salad plate by Gladding-McBean. This particular style plate could easily be "Metropolitan" or "Tiempo" as both had the rounded corners, both had salad plates that measured approximately 8", and both came in yellow. Hard to find individual covered soup bowl by Winfield, once a very popular California pottery company. This bowl is from their pattern "WIN61" which is a soft blue with chocolate brown trim. The bowl shows use that is evidenced by slight staining to the crazing that is normal with a piece of this age.
