8" Franciscan salad plate by Gladding-McBean. This particular style plate could easily be "Metropolitan" or "Tiempo" as both had the rounded corners, both had salad plates that measured approximately 8", and both came in yellow. The actual shade of yellow seems to be the determining factor, but without both to compare, we are unable to determine just to which pattern this plate belong. In fact, while doubtful, under fluorescent light this could even conceivably be FranciscanWare's lime green...

6.25" Coronado bread and butter plate in turquoise matte finish by Gladding-Bean in the Franciscan Ware line. Coronado dinnerware was made from 1940-54, but the mark on this plate (same as coral photo but without a number beneath it) indicates a production date between 1940 and 1947. Here is a beautiful porcelain bowl by Schmidt. Made in Brazil, it is an excellent pattern for the winter holidays. This 8" rimmed soup bowl (Pattern #SHM7) is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

White, 7.75" soup bowls by Homer Laughlin with pink and white flowers, on a Republic shape, with gold trim on the rim. The pattern number for these bowls is HLc441, which is often offered on the Internet as Virgina Rose. Don't be confused. All bowls are in very good shape with no chips or cracks and very little to no crazing.

A 9" tab-handled plate with raised pattern by Edwin M. Knowles China, in a color that leans (just a little) to the apricot side of pink. The mark indicates this plate was made in 1948.

Here is the large Bartlett-Collins "Manhattan" berry bowl in amber. The pattern was manufactured in two runs - one in the early 1900s with a scalloped edge, and this one from the 1960s with the straight edge. The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It measures 8.5" across the top diameter and is 3" deep.

This is the 10-1/8" vegetable bowl by Spode in the Wicker Dale pattern that matches our smaller one. It, too, is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Beautiful vegetable bowl by Bawo & Dotter, Elite Works, Limoges, France. Made just after the turn of the 20th century, this bowl has survived in excellent condition, with only the tiniest flea bite on the underside of the rim. It only shows when the bowl is turned over. It measures 10" X 6.25" X 3" and has no cracks or crazing.

White Rorstrand ewer with blue leaves. The pattern name marked on the bottom of the piece is Susie. It stands 9" tall and is 3 3/8" across the base. It is a very nice, clean piece. To the best of our knowledge, this ewer was made sometime in the 1980s.
