This little reticulated heart is a wonderful reminder of New Orleans past. Made by Victoria Ceramics in Japan, it measures 5" in diameter. Some of the scenes depicted on the plate are the Mississippi River Bridge, the St. Louis Basilica, the French Quarter, and more. Every place shown on this plate experienced extensive damage during the hurricanes of recent years. It's in excellent shape with no chips, cracks or crazing. It has the original cord for hanging, and the original foil label.

8" salad plate, in the Park Lane pattern (crystal), by Colony Glass. The pattern first appeared in 1965 as an imitation of Imperial's Cape Cod pattern and caught on quickly. When Indiana Glass bought Colony, the pattern's popularity encouraged Indiana to offer it in amber, green and (eventually) blue. The pattern was only available as a luncheon and beverage set, and there are no known reproductions. These plates are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks...

These shrimp cocktail sets are simple in design, while elegant in that simplicity. We are all familiar with them. Crushed ice in the bottom, cocktail sauce in the top and shrimp placed around the rim. These sets stand 4.75" tall and are 4.25" in diameter and will serve with any dinnerware. 8" Franciscan salad plate by Gladding-McBean. This particular style plate could easily be "Metropolitan" or "Tiempo" as both had the rounded corners, both had salad plates that measured approximately 8", and both came in yellow. The actual shade of yellow seems to be the determining factor, but without both to compare, we are unable to determine just to which pattern this plate belong. In fact, while doubtful, under fluorescent light this could even conceivably be FranciscanWare's lime green...
