A fabulous little elephant planter, its style and colors strongly suggest that it is a Shawnee piece, but we haven't been able to confirm that. Holding a bouquet of flowers in its trunk, it measures about 7" long and 5" tall - a perfect addition to any collection.

This is a great piece. Often sold online as Duncan & Miller's "Carribean", it was actually made by Anchor Hocking. Thanks to the popularity of the "Carribean" line, coupled with its short production life, Anchor Hocking produced "Line #17" to compliment the D&M pieces and take advantage of the market. It has a similar wavy pattern, but take note of the tab handles - borrowed from their "Ball and Rib" line of glassware. Don't be fooled into thinking this is something it's not...

Minor utensil marks (but no dents) indicate this bowl was was a part of the family service that was used and not just displayed. Unsure of the pattern name and date, but perhaps you recognize it.

The pattern was manufactured in two runs - one in the early 1900s with a scalloped edge, and this one from the 1960s with the straight edge. The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It measures 8.5" across the top diameter and is 3" deep.

Reed and Barton silverplated bread tray in the Holiday pattern. A simple pattern, it polishes nicely and though minor cleaning and usage marks appear in the bottom, they are certainly nothing that will prevent further enjoyment. This tray measures 11.5" from end to end and 6.25" across. While we are sure of the date for this piece, it is possibly from the 50s or 60s (if not earlier). If you have any questions or comments, please let us hear from you.
