9.5" Coronado luncheon plate in turquoise matte finish by Gladding-Bean in the Franciscan Ware line. Coronado dinnerware was made from 1940-54, but the number beneath the mark on this plate indicates it was made in 1947. This mark without the number indicates an earlier production date. 8" Franciscan salad plate by Gladding-McBean. This particular style plate could easily be "Metropolitan" or "Tiempo" as both had the rounded corners, both had salad plates that measured approximately 8", and both came in yellow. The actual shade of yellow seems to be the determining factor, but without both to compare, we are unable to determine just to which pattern this plate belong. In fact, while doubtful, under fluorescent light this could even conceivably be FranciscanWare's lime green...
