Park Lane Plate

8" salad plate, in the Park Lane pattern (crystal), by Colony Glass. The pattern first appeared in 1965 as an imitation of Imperial's Cape Cod pattern and caught on quickly. When Indiana Glass bought Colony, the pattern's popularity encouraged Indiana to offer it in amber, green and (eventually) blue. The pattern was only available as a luncheon and beverage set, and there are no known reproductions.
