For thirty-two years, Peter and Jean Richards have been buying period antiques and decorative objects in America and abroad and selling them to collectors, dealers, and museums.
Their interests are wide ranging: 18th and 19th century American and English furniture, silver, brass and specialty glass such as hyacinth vases. In their shop, long established on the mid-coast of Maine, the visitor will also find selections of period copper, tea caddies, boxes, sterling photograph frames, prints, mirrors and items associated with wine including tickets, rinsers, coolers, coasters, cellarettes, tastevins, decanters and bottle boxes. Summer visitors often come for the selection of cheerful and useful pottery pitchers, bistrot tables and garden ornaments.
