Rare reticulated silver Acheh belt dating from the early 20th century. The 17 panels depicting peacocks are complemented by a larger octagonal lobed buckle with a dragon. The belt is 27 inches long and the buckle is about 4 inches across, making a belt size of 31 inches. The belt weighs 7.7 troy ounces.

This is a handsome Regency period (circa 1820) breakfront bookcase of wonderful scale in warm, light colored, figured mahogany. The panels on the doors in the lower section are nicely matched, coming from adjoining flitches of the wood. The doors on the top section have lancet glazing bars on the upper part.
