A superb example of a Georgian period mahogany tray, double banded in brass and with carved carrying handles. The vertical pieces are rabbeted into the bottom, making this a complex item to construct. Condition is very good; there have been very minor repairs over time on the sides. Dimensions: 24 5/8 inches long; 15 5/8 inches wide; 2 1/8 inches high.
