George III silver brandy label of rectangular shape with cut corners made by the well-regarded firm of Thomas Phipps and Edward Robinson of London in 1806. It is engraved with their distinctive blocked lettering. The chain is original and the condition is excellent. Width is 1 5/8 inches. A fine decoration for your decanters or addition to your collection of wine labels.

Very heavy sterling 5 Balboa coin struck by the Franklin Mint in 1970 for the Republic of Panama and still in its original sealed card holder. This is a proof coin (when these were issued in 1969, orders were limited to one per customer), containing 542 grains of pure sterling, which translates into 35.121 grams or 1.13 Troy ounces. This was the official 1970 Central American and Caribbean Games commemorative coin.

Fine pair of coin silver teaspoons by Edward Lang (1742-1830) of Salem, Massachusetts, who worked as a silversmith from 1768 to 1793 when he became a schoolmaster. These spoons have a downturned spatulate handle with tipt back. This form and the block monogram would indicate a date about 1780. There is a nice rounded drop and a nine-lobed shell in particularly good condition. Pair of English sterling wine tickets or labels for Brandy and Port by the well-known firm of Hilliard & Thomason, assayed in Chester in 1898. The labels, of basically rectangular form, have pleasing shell and leaf borders. They are hallmarked on the fronts at the bottom left. A nice pair to adorn your decanters or bottles at a small price. The labels are 2 1/8 inches wide.

Very good quality cast Sterling Madeira wine ticket in the vine and tendril shape made by Gorham in Providence, Rhode Island, USA, bearing the company's date mark for 1895. Being cast, this has a substantial feel rather than the tinniness one encounters in stamped labels. Maximum width is 3 inches.
