This is a scarce booklet on the subject published as a special issue of Historical New Hampshire, Volume XXXVIII, Number 1, Spring 1983, by the New Hampshire Historical Society. The author is David Ruell. It catalogs the bird's eye views of the state's towns as well as the publishers and artists. 88 pages. This is a brand new copy we purchased from the Historical Society.

Beautiful two-volume set of The Art of the West by Henri Focillon, handsomely printed by Phaidon in 1963. Heavily illustrated. Volume I, Romanesque Art, has 159 plates. The previous owner's name is written on the inside cover and there are numerous underlinings and notes on the text pages. That owner apparently did not get to Volume II, Gothic Art, because there are no underlinings. That volume has 165 plates...

Wonderful anthology includes background and articles about the trail from south to north. Published in 1996 by Oxford University Press, paperback, 382pp., in "like new" condition.

We used it to good advantage on a six-week drive through the country; we had found it difficult to translate the names of all the menu offerings. This is a laminated hardback, 7 7/8 inches by 4 7/8 inches — pocketable. It contains information on 197 items: drawings, names in other languages, size, distribution and quality of taste...

Speed table shows how long it takes a ship to travel various distances at various speeds. Most of the pages contain distances between various ports of call.
