This is flyer or program from the original production of Marco Millions by The Theatre Guild Acting Company for the week beginning November 19, 1928. The play was by Eugene O'Neill, possibly America's greatest playwright and winner of the Nobel Prize for literature. This piece is in very good condition with one fold. It measures 9 by 3½ inches. Intriguing catalog of a sale of Costume and Decor Designs, Drawings, Photographs and Books relating to Dance Theatre, Opera and Cabaret held on December 6, 1979 by Sotheby Parke Bernet, Inc., in New York. Among the artists included are Pierre Bonnard, Jean Cocteau, Giorgio De Chirico, Erte, and Pavel Tchelitchew. As was the custom at that time, lot estimates are listed at the back. The catalog is unmarked and in "like new" condition.
