Mahogany 18th century gilt mirror in Queen Anne style, probably made in Northwest Europe. The backboards and glass appear to be original. As would be expected, there have been some minor repairs over the years. The mirror is 36 inches high and 13 1/2 inches wide. More photographs are available and can be emailed.

Two attractive color post cards from Nova Scotia: Fishermen Mending Nets, Peggy's Cove and Coastal View, Near Yarmouth. They are marked on the back as Majestic, a brand name. They are numbers KS-7126 and KS-7694. I am also including, at no charge, a card that came with them, apparently torn out from a booklet of cards, that depicts Cape Rouge on the Scenic Cabot Trail. The cards are all unused, in very good condition.

George II Queen Anne card table of very dense mahogany in an unusual state of preservation. It has a square-eared recessed top and a baize-lined interior with candlestands and money wells. The elegant cabriole legs end in shapely pads, and there is a wonderful mahogany-lined long drawer running the entire length. The top has particularly nice faded color. Impressive patinated metal and wood bird cage from the era of Napoleon III, featuring a slide-out tray at the bottom for cleaning, side feeder cups that open outwards for refilling, the obligatory wooden perch and wonderfully pierced decorative elements. It sits on wooden ball feet and there is a warmly colored wood finial at the top which was used to lift it onto and off a table. Height is 43 inches; each side is 17 1/2 inches.

The coin was struck by The Royal Mint of Great Britain in 1977 in honor of the 25th anniversary of of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II and bears a new effigy of the Queen on horseback. The reverse of the coin displays the Ampulla and Annointing Spoon from the Royal Regalia, encircled by a floral border and surmounted by a Royal Crown.
