Large, wonderful book in excellent condition. Superior quality printing and binding. Not ex-library. Small area of discoloration on back. Size: 12 by 9½ inches. Weight about 6½ pounds. Green buckram binding with gilt stamped lettering. There is a wonderful frontispiece portrait which lets you know what Dr. E. Lewis Sturtevant looked like. He had roots in Maine and attended Bowdoin College before enlisting in the Union Army in 1861.
