Montgomery: American Federal Furniture, Classic, 1st Ed

The best book on American Federal Furniture, based on the Winterthur collection, where Charles F. Montgomery was director. He later became a senior research fellow at Winterthur and later became a curator and professor of art history at Yale University. This is the 1966 Viking edition, not the later Bonanza or Schiffer reprints which are of lesser quality. Incidentally, this edition is thicker than the later editions because it used better paper; the quality of the illustrations is also superior. It is a large volume, copiously illustrated. The book is so large that the scan truncates the cover a bit. Condition is "like new" with just the slightest wear showing at top of dust wrapper (which is protected in a mylar cover).
