Pomeranian and Maltese Print, Cassell's Book of the Dog

Framed original color chromolithograph print from the famous Cassell's Book of the Dog, published around 1880. The caption on the print reads: Pomeranian Dog "Charley" The Property of Mr. James Fawdry; Maltese "Hugh" The Property of Lady Giffard. This is framed in a gold and silver gilt frame using archival materials. The mat color is Pampas in Bainbridge Alphamat. The frame is 12 1/8 inches high and 15 1/8 inches wide, while the print sight size is 7 1/2 inches by 9 inches. The illustrations are a scan of the unframed print and a photograph of the framed print (please note that there are some reflections from the glass on this one).
