Florene Maine Famous Connecticut Dealer 2 Sale Catalogs

Two catalogs for sales of items from the famous Ridgefield, Connecticut, dealer Florene Maine, who died in 1980. "The Collection of the Late Florene Maine" consisted of 269 lots sold at Sotheby Parke Bernet on January 27, 1981. This catalog, with copious illustrations, includes the prices realized list. The cover of the Sotheby catalog has minor rubbing in one area (see photo) and there are a few scattered dealer price notations. Along with this we include a catalog from the August 19-20, 1977, sale at Robert W. Skinner Inc. of "The Florene Maine Collection," consisting of 562 lots. There are numerous black and white photos.
