A Metlox Vernon Ware Della Robbia Oval Baker, that is sometimes referred to as an Oval Serving Bowl. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing, but it does have a chigger bite on the bottom that is a glaze chip about the size of a straight pin head. The Oval Baker is 12 1/8 inches long by 9 1/4 inches wide. It is not marked. Della Robbia was introduced by Metlox in 1965, and the Bowl is pictured in Metlox Potteries by Carl Gibbs, Jr. on page 186.
