A Beautiful and Very Old Sterling Silver Handle Ladle, that is marked, "Sterling Handle - Webster Co. Hallmark". The Pattern is unknown to me , and it shows the use and wear of a very old piece. The Ladle is 7 3/8 inches long and the Bowl is 2 5/8 inches wide by 2 3/8 inches. The Shank and Bowl are silverplated, and the silverplate is not worn through. The Ladle handle has a few small dings from use, but it is in very good condition considering the age of the piece, and it is not monogrammed. A Ladle of this size could have a great many uses, such as, for Gravy, Sauces, Bouillon, and Soups.
