A 4 Piece Dinner Size Place Setting in the Sterling Silver Grande Baroque Pattern by Wallace, which was introduced in 1941, consisting of a Dinner Knife with French Blade, Dinner Fork, Salad Fork, and Teaspoon. I have four sets of these place settings.
This 4 piece Place Setting is Estate Sterling Silver and is in excellent condition, no dents or dings, and not monogrammed.
Dinner Knife with French Blade is 10-1/4 inches long and weighs 90 grams.
Dinner Fork is 8 inches long and weighs 80 grams
Salad Fork is 6-1/2 inches long and weighs 40 grams.
Teaspoon is 6-1/2 inches long and weighs 35 grams.
The Dinner Knife is actually a Continental Dinner Size and it is marked on the Handle STER HH and a Wallace mark that was used in 1956. The Forks and Teaspoon are marked WALLACE – Deer or Stag Head – STERLING, and I understand that these pieces were purchased shortly after Grande Baroque was introduced in 1941.
