An Antique Oak Butler’s Tray with a Stand that I strongly believe is a 19th Century Butler’s Tray. The Tray is made of 3/8 inch Oak, and it is 22-1/2 inches wide by 33-1/2 inches long by 4 inches high. There is a hand opening on each of the tray’s four sides for lifting, and the corners of the tray are dovetailed. The Tray was refinished a number or years ago and some of the brass screws that hold the bottom on the tray have been replaced, since some of the screws were corroded.
The X-Shaped Folding Stand is not made of the same wood as the tray, and it is modern. When opened up to support the Butler’s Tray, the Stand is 16-1/2 inches wide by 23 inches long by 31-1/2 inches tall.
This Butler's Tray and Stand are both in very good condition and ready to use.
