A Victorian Silver Plated Crumb Knife by Hall and Elton in the Medallion Pattern that was issued in 1867. The Crumb Knife was Very Popular in the Victorian Era to clean crumbs from the Dinner Table between courses. This Beautiful Crumb Knife is 12 inches long and the blade is 2 1/2 inches wide by 6 1/2 inches long.
In present times some people use the Crumb Knife as an Entrée Server for items such as Enchiladas, Tamales, Fish Portions, and a Host of other items.
The Medallion Pattern has a Roman Soldiers Head on the Handle and on the Blade there is a Beautiful Floral Engraving.
This Crumb Knife is in excellent condition and the Silver Plate not any worn through anywhere on this Crumb Knife. It is not nor has it ever been monogrammed.
