A Sterling Silver Medium Chipped Beef Serving Fork in Gorham’s Very Popular Lancaster Pattern that was introduced by Gorham in 1897, and this Fork is marked with the Lion – Anchor – G, then Sterling. The Fork has been used, but is in excellent condition, and it is 6 3/4 inches long and 1 3/8 inches wide at the end of the tines, also it is not monogrammed nor had a monogram removed.
These Forks were intended for serving chipped beef or small pieces of beef at the dining table, but they are very useful in present times being utilized as a serving fork for Cold Cuts, Cheeses, etcetera at the Buffet Table.
