An Antique Sterling Silver Handled Cake Serving Piece that can also be utilized for serving Pie, Fish, or other Entree’s. The Handle is marked Sterling but there is no maker’s mark, and I do not know the pattern name. The Serving Piece is 9 1/2 inches long and the Blade is 2 1/4 inches wide at the widest point.
As mentioned the Handle is Sterling and the Blade is Silver Plated, and it is not worn through, although there is a small area on the tip of the blade on one side of the Server that has some small pits and the silver plate is not worn through, but they do not detract from the beauty of this piece.
