Elsa Schiaparelli was one of the great designers of all time and this is a piece of her 1950's classic modern jewelry. Set in a gold-plated frame, the rhinestone pin has a scalloped openwork edge. The center dome raises up with sparkling white crystal rhinestones. The pin measures 1 1/2 inches across. High quality setting with secure closure. Marked SCHIAPARELLI on the back. This vintage oil painting of a nude came from a fine South Florida estate. The model is a picture of calm and comfort in her skin, much of which is artfully shown lounging. The painting is signed ALINE. The stretched canvas painting is without a frame. The painting measures 24 by 18 inches. The colors are soft and restful. The flowers near the easel are a bright spot...but nothing that detracts from the lovely nude. Excellent condition.
