This unusual old handmade snuff box is carved out of bone with a carved wood figural stopper top and base. The bone is carved with symbols. We're not sure exactly what part of the world this came from but the woman we bought it from said her parents had always brought home souvenirs from their exotic world travels. The folk art box measures 7 1/8 inches high by 1 inch across. It's in excellent condition and very unique.

This vintage enamel compact - powder box was never used so it's perfect both inside and out. The oval-shaped purse or vanity piece has its original powder puff and grid inside. There's a single hand-painted enamel rose on the top with green leaves and gold trim...against a pearly enamel background. Compact measures 2 1/4 by 1 5/8 inches. Sides and bottom are gold-tone. Never used...excellent condition.
