Many years ago, we bought 3 old circa 1920's decals of the Coney Island Steeplechase funny face that was used all over George C. Tilyou's amusement park from the late 1800's till the park closed circa 1960. The decals were bigger than most decals...8 1/2 by 11 inches. We sold two of them but kept the last one all these years because we knew we'd never see another like it. We recently made a print from the original...same size...same colors...on card stock paper...

This was part of a series of 'insult' Valentine cards (also called 'penny dreadfuls) they made geared toward particular trades and hobbies. This one is intended for the would-be yachtsman. Fan this little booklet and watch them dance. They twirl. They swing and sway. This vintage flipbook is titled...Dance Lesson From the Good Old Days. This was made by Shackman circa 1970s. This is No. 1941. It's like a miniature moving picture and you're the projector. Measures 2 by 3 inches. Slight wear to edges...overall excellent.

This original March 1944 calendar page is from the ARTIST'S SKETCH PAD by famous pin-up girl artist Earl MacPherson. The great pin-up gals are dressed in military Army and Navy outfits. The suggestive caption reads...'We're proud of our 'E'quipment too'...and they're certainly busting with pride. The page measures 9 by 14 inches. It's in excellent condition...perfect for framing. The back text explains how smoke interferes with the training of pilots, invites attacks by enemy subs and helps hide them from patrols. Bookmark measures 2 1/2 by 7 inches. This original circa 1950 set of Cake Decorating Stencils were never used and come in their original envelope. The 8 stencils are made of waxed board and come in the form of Christmas (2 different), Thanksgiving, Halloween, Happy Birthday, circus, cowboy and rainy day graphics. Each board measures 10 by 7 3/4 inches. Slight wear/crinkling to envelope but stencils are unused and in excellent condition.

Author Mark Twain was so well liked, he rated a cigar named after him and this original circa 1910 cigar box label which says...'Known to Everyone - Liked by All'. It's a great embossed lithograph showing the wise Twain with scenes from some of his well-known books...looks like Huck Finn and/or Tom Sawyer. Label measures 9 by 7 inches and is in near-mint, unused condition.

Never used, this original Victorian era HURLEY'S MORE HAIR TONIC box is still flat and in its original condition. Box front shows illustration of a woman...half bald, half flowing tresses. Box copy claims that product promotes hair growth and removes dandruff...'the chief cause of the hair falling out'. Box also claims that Hurley's is 'INDORSED (sic) BY PHYSICIANS AND HIGH-CLASS HAIR DRESSERS' (beware of those dreaded low-class ones.)...

NOT reprints...these are old and original Victorian baby faces...3 different sheets of 4 decals each. Two are wearing bonnets. The other has curls. Each strip measures 10 1/2 by 3 inches. Two sheets have a rice paper film covering it for protection. You can see the vivid lithographed colors. Printed in Germany, circa 1915. Unused, excellent condition. The cutest angelic faces!

It must have been a pretty big pickle barrel to take on a big label like this. This original circa 1930 lithographed label says...PURE FOOD HEINZ VARIETIES PRODUCTS. Very colorful, it measures 11 inches in diameter and is in unused, near-mint condition.
