This original vintage PENNY BRITE doll lives up to her name...she's still bright and wearing her original red and white dress with flower appliques. Back is marked Deluxe Reading - 1963 A-9. Her hair is full and rooted...very stylish for 1963. Head, arms and legs are jointed and move. She must have lost her shoes running to be photographed. Overall, Penny is in excellent condition.

These are wonderful old composition dolls, circa 1930s. The pair are dressed in what looks like ethnic Mexican style clothes. He's wearing a big straw sombrero with native suit (slightly faded). She's wearing a sparkled skirt. Their faces are hand-painted as are the shoes/socks. The dolls are jointed at shoulders and hips. They measure 8 inches high. A few minor nicks to paint/shoe tips but overall, these are in excellent vintage condition. Very bright, colorful and old.

These three part-celluloid dolls are from the late 1940s. There's a SAILOR with U.S. NAVY embossed on his sailor hat, a CLOWN and a BASEBALL PLAYER. These have hand-painted celluloid heads with stuffed cloth bodies. Each has a string at the top so you can hang it. They measure 4 3/4 inches high. Some call these old 'carnival dolls' but I just call them 'adorable'. These are all in excellent condition.
