This old and original 1963 paper doll book...DRESS UP FOR THE NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR...was made to be sold at the 1964 -1965 New York World's Fair. This book is in near-mint condition...never even peeked at till now. The large-format book includes paper doll cutouts with costumes from different countries that were represented at Fair exhibits. These three part-celluloid dolls are from the late 1940s. There's a SAILOR with U.S. NAVY embossed on his sailor hat, a CLOWN and a BASEBALL PLAYER. These have hand-painted celluloid heads with stuffed cloth bodies. Each has a string at the top so you can hang it. They measure 4 3/4 inches high. Some call these old 'carnival dolls' but I just call them 'adorable'. These are all in excellent condition.

This set of 5 old bisque dolls are still in their original box. Circa 1930's, these are old warehouse stock that were never sold (we bought them over 35 years ago). These are hand-painted in vivid colors. Each is embossed JAPAN on the back and measures 2 1/4 inches. Box shows slight wear/soil. The dolls are all in excellent condition... great original old bisques.
